To bite or not to bite? That is the question.

• Summary

No, Karin does not decide to bite Usui, and instead winds up having another nosebleed. She passes out and wakes up with him taking care of her again, but remembers nothing. When he reminds her of what happened, she gets embarrassed and runs away.

At the restaurant, Fumio (Usui’s mom) is fired and so Karin’s brother sweeps down for the kill. Winner is running around frantically with his vampire-hunting tools, chasing after bats, and making cute faces. :3 When Karin gets wind of her brother’s plan, she runs after Fumio and intervenes. Her brother gets pissed off and threatens her, yelling at her about falling in love and how they are different from humans. Their father comes to beat him up.

Back at the Marker household, older brother gets an earful from his parents, who scold him about betraying Usui, who is protecting Karin’s secret. When Anju suggests that Ren has been bewitched by Fumio’s power to swoon men, he gets angry and leaves.

That night, Karin reflects on Usui and her feelings for him. Then she gets a phone call from Maki. They both know that something is wrong (Maki Winner, Karin Usui). Karin feels really bad for trying to bite Usui and thinks that they will never be friends again.

The next day, Usui is at work alone because Karin skipped out, but she comes back to apologize about the previous evening. She’s afraid Usui would be mad or scared but instead he is just worried about her. Then he does the cutest thing ever. Usui offers his neck for whenever Karin feels like she needs to bite someone. AWW! Karin’s face turns real red and then she runs into the bathroom. Sitting on the floor, she realizes that yappari, she really does like Usui.

• Episode Review

AWWWW! Could Usui be any cuter?! Noooooo! :D :D :D

Sorry, had to do that. Well, I am actually kind of disappointed with this episode, since the end of the last one had gotten me so hyped up. I don’t know what I was expecting, but it was way better than this long drawn-out episode with the focus on Ren. Who cares about Ren?! I am really happy that Karin is finally getting her act together (maybe), and all we can do is wait for a confession…from either. I would also like to hear Usui’s thoughts on Karin as we have heard Karin’s point of view this episode.

Karin is still one of my most enjoyed series, and the next episode title (”Just the Two of Us Till Morning is Embarrassing”) looks enticing! This episode wasn’t what I had hoped for, but I’m looking forward to more.

Winner actually scored a lot of kawaii points in this scene, because he just looks so pitiful and cute. I want to huggle him and tell him it’s all okay!
